About Ann Manning

Ann Manning

From my teenage years I wanted to understand what makes us tick in the emotional realm.

I studied psychology at university, was awarded a B Sc (Hons) in 1974,

but what I learned there was essentially unsatisfying.

For several years I worked with children and community groups,

using drama as a tool for self discovery.

I also taught for a time in the Drama Department at the University of Newcastle.

When I began practising meditation in 1981 my world was transformed;

I experienced wholeness within myself and a sense of meaning and purpose.

The philosophy  underlying the meditation also landed deeply for me.

Since then, the study and practice of meditation has continued to nourish and enrich my life.

I was introduced to homeopathy after becoming a mother,

and experienced some remarkable turnarounds in my children's health.

I was fascinated to learn that, in homeopathy, the emotional & mental state

of the patient is often pivotal in selecting a homeopathic medicine.

Soon I was studying homeopathy and graduated with an Adv Dip Hom in 2002.

I have now been practising in Sydney for over 20 years, and continue to study

with international homeopathic masters such as Rajan Sankaran.

It is very satisfying when clients report that not only their physical complaints

improve with homeopathy, but they also experience a greater sense of well-being

and the impacts of deep traumas are managed and lessened.

I offer individual consultations, and teach an introductory course ‘Homeopathy at Home’.

I also lecture to degree students at Endeavour College of Natural Health.

In 2018 I was introduced to Mindful Self-Compassion – it made my heart sing!

I completed teacher training that year and now teach regular courses based on MSC.

I also apply the principles of MSC and other mindfulness & somatic based processes

in one-one one mindfulness training sessions: Unravelling Unworthiness.

The intention of all these mindfulness trainings is to equip the participants

with resources to support deep healing.

If you've read this far I assume you are interested. Please get in touch.

I'd love to work with you, and support you to explore new perspectives.
